I, Prathap. H, aged 40, a permanent resident of Kozhikode, at the above mentioned address, who has been living a totally austere yogic life for the past 15 years or more, independently , without any dependence on any one whatsoever, monetary or otherwise, was physically assaulted, verbally abused, violated physically by Ambika and Bindu, my clothes torn up, property damaged and stolen at my residence at Adoor (‘Harinivas’, Adoor), on 13.10.2013(October),by a group of miscreants and criminals(Ramachandran nair, Shaji, Ambika, Bindu, Rekha, Dr. Rajeev), made a prisoner there, and was taken into police custody by the Adoor police(Sathish, Babu, Foul mouth, Ajayan, SI, and others) acting in cohorts with the attackers, kept in illegal custody without any case or warrant, denied legal aid, and later, on the morning of 14.10.2013was forcibly abducted in a hiredvehicle by the attackers of the night before, with the aid and accomplice of the Adoor police to an asylum at Pushpagiri, Thiruvalla, after framing and trapping me at my residence, while I was on a visit there for the Pooja holidays, enacting a preplanned drama following a conspiracy, beaten up by the attackers, hospital staff and wardens, dragged, clothes torn up in public, and confined to the walls of Pushpagiri asylum , kept in illegal captivity for three continuous weeks, physically and mentally tortured,harassed and wrecked with lethal drugs and injections,(under the lead of Dr. Roy, Dr. Arun, Dr. Chako, Dr. Srinath, Dr. Sheeba and team)put into a coma, my long hair forcefully cut off, thilak removed, forced to consume unwanted liquids, made to wear slippers, forced to do menial work in the stinking toilet premises, made to beg at Roy’s feet, ridiculed and mocked for my yogic life and brahamacharya,my religious rites, practices, and temple visits purposefully put an endto, aimed at ‘reforming’ me, to make me give up my yogic ways of life, get married, take up a permanent job etc., after which they set me out free, labeling me an unfit person, threatening to confine me to the walls of an asylum for the rest of my life if ever the horrific details of my torture at Pushpagiri were revealed. I present the details in the following affidavit presented by me before the honourable institution of justice.
I Prathap.H, hereby state that the details presented by me in my affidavit are true to the last bit and extent, as is my original complaint, given in English and Malayalam, and that I can only add more to the details regarding the horrific experience that I was subjected to by the criminals, The Adoor police and the team at Puhpagiri, Thiruvalla. The atrocities were a total infringement into myfreedom,personality, identity and integrity, totally degrading, humiliating and maligning me in society so that I can no longer survive. My very identity and existence are at stake. I was totally isolated and any justice and rule of law was denied to me at all stages, the police playing the main role. I am ready to vouch for and standby the contents of myaffidavit in any court of law and for legal requirements.

1) Local miscreants and goondas, Ramachandran nair, Shaji, Ambika,Bindu, Rekha, Dr. Rajeev atmy residence, Harinivas, Adoor,(pathanamthitta dist. Kerala)with the aid of local Adoor police.
2) Adoor local police under the team of Sathish, Babu, then Adoor SI, Foulmouth K, Ajayan and other police officials;
3) Officials, staff, wardens of Pushpagiri Medical institutions ,Thiruvalla, under the guidance ofDr.Roy, Dr. Arun, Dr. Chacko, Dr. Srinath, Dr. Sheebaand others.
The following are the attacks and atrocities, physical and mental done and inflicted upon me;
Attacksbythegroup of conspirators and assailants; Ramachandran nair, Shaji, Ambika, Bindu.
1) Ramachandran nair, Shaji, Ambika, Bindu, Rekha, barge into my house, Harinivas(at Adoor, Pathanamthittadist), on the night of 13.10.2013 (13thOctober, 2013, Mahanavami day) forcefully, amounting to trespass, at around 8.00 pm., while I am into my prayers and rituals.
2) They beat me up and thrash me in my own premises,causing physical injuries to my torso, teeth,cheeks, and limbs, dragging me from my prayers and rituals.(Physical abuse)
3) They tear up my clothes, shirts, and T shirts, and trousers, repeatedly. The Adoor police under Sathish, Babu and others join them in banging me against the windows and causing physical injuries and tearing up my clothes.
4) The attackers and police abuse me verbally with foul language.
5) The attackers disrupt my pooja, prayers, and rituals, of Mahanavami day,13.10.2013.
6) Theydamage and break the pooja vessels, lamps,kick away the offerings and blow out the lamps.
7) The ladies involved in the attacks, Ambika, Bindu, act like whores and caress and croon in my ears, use foul language, mock my brahmacharya,violate me and forcefully hold me down, while Ramachandran nair and Shaji thrash me up.
8) The attackers forcefully take away Mr. Harindranathan and Subhadra and make them captives in the house of Rekha. They are not allowed to communicate with anyone. They are threatened with consequences to my life unless they cooperated with the attackers.
9) The attackersdestroy the land phone, and take away my baggage, money, pc etc., totally cutting me off from communicating with anyone.
10) Finally they lock me up in my own house, making me a prisoner.
11) Then the assailants go about enacting their pre-planned scheme and by their influence and clout make the local Adoor police act according to their puppetry.
12) The entire drama was pre planned and staged after a conspiracy, so as to take me into an asylum and subject me to torture, ragging, mental and physical harassment, to make me change and abandon my yogic and austere ways of living, brahmacharya,rituals, prayers, scriptural studies, etc.
13) The attackers return with the Adoor police about one hour later, after having made them accomplices to the drama that is being staged. They come up with the idea that I have ousted the old people from their home, and was not allowing them to enter.

1) The Adoor police arrive nearly one and a half hours after the attackers have made me prisoner in my own house, prepared and planned in advance, in cohorts with the attackers.
2) They, Sathish, Babu, and others, arrive and demand what I am doing in my own house!
3) They ask whether I have legal rights to be in my own home.
4) They team up with the attackers and further tear up my clothes, shirts and trousers.
5) The police join hands with the miscreants and physically thrash and beat me, bang my face against the window, lift me up by my waist, and thrust me by my collar and neck, inflicting injuries and bruises on me and abuse me verbally.
6) The Adoor police under the team lead of Sathish challenge me at my own house to try and physically resist them and the attackers!
7) The police take me into their custody and do not give me any reason for it. Without a case or complaint, I am detained illegally by the police at the Adoor police station.
8) The police and Dr. Rajeev,(son of Ramachandran nair, surgeon at the Adoor local govt. hospital) come together and plan with the Adoor govt. hospital, so as to get Harindranathan and Subhadra ‘admitted’ to the Adoor govt. Hospital,forcefully, on a false basis as victims of ‘assault’, with not even a scratch on any one of them!
9) The police abuse and thrash me and do not provide any legal aid in spite of me asking for it.
10) I am notprovided any treatment for the injuries inflicted upon me by the attackers. I am notpresented anywhere to ascertain my physical or mental condition.
11) The police refuse to register my complaint against the attackers and do not take my statement.
12) No three other persons are informed about taking me into custody. I am totally isolated and cut off from communicating with anyone.
13) I am totally isolated and kept in confines without anyone knowing my whereabouts. Not even my sister Priya Haindranathan, owner of the residence,’ Harinivas’, is informed.
14) I am kept in police custody illegally and unlawfully from the night of 13.10.2013 till the morning of 14.10.2013, for nearly 10 hours.
15) I am not given any food or water at all. In fact I was without food or water for the past 48 plus hours owing to fasting due to pooja rites and rituals.
16) During the night of 13.10.2013, the Adoor police, Sathish, Babu, Pillai, Lady staff, and other patrol party are at the police station. There are at least three other detainees in the station. The police under Sathish, Babu and the patrol members bring in a man and they were beating him up mercilessly with hands, fists and the baton. He hadsuccumbed to near death, as he became unconscious, and it seems the police had taken him to the hospital. What happened to the hapless person needs to be investigated.
17) I am not produced in any court or magistrate’s presence or for medical assessment.
18) On the morning of 14.10.2013, the attackers of the night before, Ramachandran nair , Shaji, Bindu and Ambika arrive in a hired vehicle at the police station. The Adoor police SI, Foulmouth, Mr. Ajayan and other officers thrust me forcefully after thrashing and pushing me out by the scruff of my neck, into the hired abducting vehicle of the attackers. They threaten to handcuff and bash me up. Despite my refusal to leave,theAdoor police abuse me verbally,aid and act as accomplicesand escort, for the culprits to take me to thePushpagiri,medical institution,Thiruvalla, nearly 40 km away.
